Behind the Curtain….
September 26th, 2008 by Jake TheisWell hello there,
It seems like every time we talk its always business, business, business. Well, I’m not going to lie; we’ll talk shop in a little while. For now though, let’s catch up. Put your feet up. I’ll get you a tasty beverage.
How has your summer been?
I’ve had a great summer … a great, yet busy summer.
In 2008, I have racked up almost 42,000 frequent flyer miles, attended/presented at three Conventions, visited my parents/friends/family in Illinois, drove up Mount Rainier, met with some of our fine licensors in NYC, saw the Topps Mother Ship (also in NYC), struggled through half-a-dozen of the worst live Seattle Mariners’ games I’ve ever seen, witnessed an awesome Star Wars Midnight Madness event at Toy R Us that featured Star Wars PocketModel TCG stealing the show, maintained a sub .500 Oshi record in the office (Tiffany O’Brien, WizKids Product Manager should give Oshi lessons), went sea kayaking, and worked my little fingers to the bone. It’s been great!
