Alright…I’m back.

The plane flight back from Fort Wayne went smoothly, and it’s back to work. The action hasn’t stopped this week: I’ve landed, did a week’s worth of laundry, celebrated my birthday, got a nasty cold, and now sit shivering and finishing a blog on Guemes Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington. The trip up to the islands was intended to celebrate my birthday, but to be honest, I just want to sleep twelve hours and shake my cold.

Anywaaay, where did we leave off?

Oh, yes. With some spoilers.

The things we haven’t talked about yet that were spoiled at the Retailer Summit in Fort Wayne, I believe….

We haven’t talked about the Batmobile yet, have we? Here’s a shot of the Batmobile that is being sculpted as we speak-

Pretty snazzy, no? It will be in-scale to Batman, and will have some unique gameplay elements that will make it super-fun to play. Now, if I can just figure out how to get a self-destruction effect into the product….

It’s high time we came up with some cool vehicles for HeroClix, as I want to see The Hulk smash tanks, the Batmobile arrive in the nick of time, and the SHIELD Helicarrier tower over the table.

I’m sure the introduction of vehicles may be divisive to some of our audience at first, but our game is about the comics, and vehicles are a significant piece of comics. Vehicles are just as important to comics as New York City is a part of the Marvel Universe and The Bat Cave is integral to the DC Universe.

We’re not 100% sure on how we want to release the Batmobile yet; mostly because we believe that there are a few different, equally good options to get it in your hands. I’ll keep you posted.

Another good-sized spoiler at the Fort Wayne show was that the Runaways will debut in Hammer of Thor. We showed a pic of Molly Hayes (Bruiser/Princess Powerful). Here is the image that we showed off-

She’s one of my many favorite pieces from HoT. You gotta love any sculpt that features ducklings.

Wait until you see Surtur.

Crap, I just spoiled Surtur…. Well, that means that the NyQuil has taken hold.
